Did any of the Charleston area radio stations carry live information on the Bayer Cropsciences plant explosion?

Any EAS issued?

the eas system at the tv station I work at didnt go off... I doubt any of the radio peoples sent out alerts as well..

We had coverage less than ten minutes after the explosion and had info and details live on air well into the night.

B.T. and Steve Animal get major kudos for this.

I was talking to B.T. on the phone when it happened. He was driving the station van back from a remote. I thought someone had run a truck into my house. B.T. saw the giant fireball.

B.T. was on the air immediately after with initial info and Steve ran with it after that.

WCHS, WSWW, WKAZ-FM, WKAZ-AM, The Wolf, The Beat, and V100 went wall to wall coverage for most of the night.
