'Smiling Bob' not smiling at 25-year sentence

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Post by Dr. Whiplash »

Steve Warshak, the Cincinnati businessman convicted of defrauding customers seeking male sexual-enhancement supplements, has been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison.

Warshak also was ordered to pay $93,000 in fines for his convictions on 93 counts of conspiracy, fraud and money laundering. His company, Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, and other defendants were ordered to forfeit more than $500 million. US District Judge Arthur Spiegel also sentenced Warshak's mother, Harriet Warshak, to two years in prison. She was convicted of conspiracy and other charges.

I'd settle for this in the case. Just one thing.

TAKE THE DAMN SPOTS OFF THE AIR.

You and mommie dearest can stay out of prison and keep all your money. Just shut the bitch company down.

Radio will air spots for anything these days.

I remember when the Trojan Man spots were considered lowbrow...

It works like this: you apply a liberal amount, making sure to really work it in; in the process, you "finish" before you ever start! Works every time!

Having positioned the product with what got them into legal trouble, they seem to have stopped making significant claims, so I don't have a huge  problem with theirs at this point and still find them humorous.

Extenze, though...now, those spots and infomercials should go, and everyone who "acted" in them needs to go to "pound 'em in the @$$" prison, where their assailants, if Kinsey is to be believed*, will have had no need for the product and will be more likely to bring physical harm!

(*Kinsey's "famous" "research" was conducted primarily on prisoners. Urologists, with a much larger sample size from a much broader cross-section, doing their own research have produced a different result....namely, that Kinsey got the average almost 16% too high.)
"I don't know the same things you don't know."

"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"

"Yeeee...it looks like a 'Belt Buckle & Ball Cap' convention in here......"

It was either Trojan or Durex spots that Danno insisted on cutting from the Casey Kasem shows back in the day. Those condom marketers are sneaky bastards.
