Stimulus Checks

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Stimulus Checks

Post by Big Media »

It is kind of slow around here... Just curious, what did you (will you) spend your stimulus money on?

I used mine for a vacation.

a portion went to upgrading my studio, some went to paying down loans, and the little that was left was put in the 'going to buy a house' fund.

rather it would have gone to cigs beers and gas to get the hell away from work for a while...

Well let's see:

My check came with script that said something like this;
Your stimulas check from Uncle Bush is for $1,200.00.
Oh! There is that little thing about a 2005 tax year, were you thought you paid it off, but HEY, Guess you did not!
So your check is for $670.24
at this point looked at the check. $540.03.
OH! further down, Governer Manshion would like to be stimulated too.
He is going to deduct the difference from a 2004 tax year.
Bless Him!

So what did I do with my vast stimulating goverment check.
Bills, Food, Bad check charges (thinking the check would be more). Life is good. Now I don't owe any taxes and I feel I have done my part to sure up the nation.
OH! There is the small fact that I owe $629.00 in personal property taxes (due at the end of this month) so I can have the pleasure of sticking $4.09 a gallon gas in my car, whose license runs out at the end of July.

GOD BLESS YOU EVERYONE!
I'm just happy to know the Dougger!
