If WSAZ is going to have to pay for NBC programming, I hope they insist on better NBC programming.
I wonder if WSAZ and other NBC stations will be quick to give bad programs the hook and go with
syndicated stuff till NBC gets the message. Low rated programs like some of the news documentaries or stuff like
that may automatically get the hook. Crap that nobody watches on weekend afternoons my be replaced by movies
or syndicated sports. We may even get to see Reds games again.
This may be the first death rattle for news departments in small stations (sub 100 market) as news departments are expensive.
Some consolidation is to be expected.
