I swear I heard him say something like that just after they went to the video of the story. I'm guessing someone didn't turn off his mic in time.

You really think Rick Lord and WCHS are more watchable than WSAZ? Wow! The regular posters on this site seem to have it in for 3. Not sure why.

If what's happening at 3 is anything like what's been happening at WRC 4, the perennial market leader in DC, then you should not be surprised by these types of comments.

Not when WSAZ is being run as if WYMT out of Hazard or Parkersburg's WTAP. I remember returning home from North Jersey and Philadephia flipping the TV to WSAZ and watching a well produced a newscast that was on the level two of the top 5 markets. Now, I see a few remnants of the past, but for the most part, WSAZ has lost their edge.

In fact, I remember when I first cam to Philly and was impressed with the quality of WSAZ over the Delaware Valley's market leader WPVI ABC-6 which had the feel of a 1970s newscast.

It's one thing to say that WSAZ is declining. I think that's true to an extent, only because they seem to have a lot of technical errors lately. However, can we not agree that it is far and away better than the other two stations? I mean, come on! I think WCHS is hard to watch. They have well-produced shows, but their reporters and anchors are unbearable!
