A fledgling TV station under new ownership has made a fresh start in downtown Charleston, and station officials are hoping the changes will lure in more viewers.
It moved its regional headquarters from Portsmouth, Ohio, to an office space at 400 Capitol St. in February. Last week, the station was erecting its call letters on a sign to mark its location.
The shift marks a decision by the station's new owners, Richmond, Va.-based Lockwood Broadcasting Group, to compete more in the Charleston/Huntington market.
