WSAZ Lip Sync
Sometime the anchor's lips are almost a word behind the audio!!! It's been going on for the past couple of weeks. Does the engineering department not know whats going on?

I have commented on this before.
If we are talking about the same thing, It occurs when the news is using digital effects to do a sise-by-side
with Penny and Tim. The effects unit must have a lot of delay and someone is not compensating for it or does not have the tools to compensate for it. Older digital effects units had a lot of delay and the way it is punched up on the switcher could vary the delay somewhat..
Pain in the ass, but compensation can be done if attention is paid, backroom guys are not overworked, and proper equipment is available.

Really bad on MYZ 10pm news everynight.
But with only 5 viewers, not a real problem to WSAZ management.

WSAZ was formerly a very tight ship.
Every manager watched and cared about the station.
All watched every newscast.
Crew and talent tried hard to do a good job.
When any part of the operation, even like MyZ is allowed to slip,
then the rest will not be far behind.
All must march in step or nobody marches in step.
It starts with the manager.
