Real Ingredients or Real Bull?

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Real Ingredients or Real Bull?

Post by Big Media »

Marketers often have to come up with creative ways to gain a competitive advantage and sell T.S.O.C.—the same old crap. This requires repackaging common ingredients and giving them new (and newly trademarked) names and identities. Are they insulting our intelligence with their duplicity or does this type of marketing really work? If you’ve purchased the following products, you may have to side with the latter.

I love Red Bull. I'm not ashamed...

Um, anyway...

Marketing is incredibly effective, whether we admit it or not.

I slam two Red Bulls and at least two cups of coffee each morning before my shift starts at 5:30. Seems to work for me, 'course I haven't slept since 2002.
Titties and beer...thank God almighty for titties and beer!

Dave, I'm prescribing three Thorazines, one Quaalude and one Percocet, to be taken 6-8 hours before your next shift. Take with a double mug of Sleepytime Tea (the tea with the cuddwy wittle bear on the box) and follow with another Thorazine one hour thereafter if still conscious. I hope this helps. - M.
