IE 8 Beta

Internet Explorer 8 Beta version now available.

Don't waste your time.

It runs slower, has that mandatory embedded Google (or whatever search engine you choose) search bar, looks and acts the same ...

I ran it for 24 hours and yanked it off, immediately switching back to IE7 -- the best Microsoft browser ever made, IMHO. If IE8 has one redeeming feature, it de-installs cleanly without leaving a trace. I think.

Not like I could install it on a machine running Ubuntu 7.10 anyway :lol:

Yikes....7 is already a slow, bloated resource hog and, to the best of my knowledge, doesn't have a good SessionSaver-type add-on even available....

Ubuntu "Gutsy Gibbon" rocks. The first version that works as well as 6.06 aka "Dapper Drake."

Of course, I though 7.04 was the worst and agree that it should be named "Crapping Cow."

IE6 was the best browser by Microsoft. Firefox 2.0 is by far the best browser ever.

We tried Safari 3 for about a week and I'm the only one that liked it. But then again, I'm the only Firefox fan here, too. Everybody else is a tad "set in their ways". Now about the pictures of "Edna The Avatar Girl"/"The Dark Clown" with short hair...
