The good life: Simon Cowell roars up in his $1million supercar to view his $8million mansion
Last updated at 01:14am on 26.03.08
X Factor supremo Simon Cowell cut more than a dash as he roared up in Beverly Hills, in his $1million luxury car to look at the $8million Beverly Hills mansion he is currently building.
With former model girlfriend Terri Seymour by his side, some might say that he's absolutely living the good life.
Cowell arrived in his $1million Bugatti Veyron to cast his eye over work being done on his luxury home, which has risen from the ground after he razed the original building in 2005 to make way for a new five-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion.
Simon haters don't look here...

Simon's awesome. In comparison to the way the music industry is really going to treat these kids someday, he's Mother Theresa. They (and the audience) don't seem to get it.
And in an ironic comparison, there sits Paula next to him, dishing out attaboys and attagirls, telling them how great they'll be someday... when that industry has turned her into a pill popping drunken hag.

The differences in personalities are staged. IMHO.Lester wrote:And in an ironic comparison, there sits Paula next to him, dishing out attaboys and attagirls, telling them how great they'll be someday... when that industry has turned her into a pill popping drunken hag.
Simon's a dick. But that's what they wanted.

Hey, Paula! was/is a reality series on Bravo that followed Paula around through life. It supposedly "completed" its "first season" after seven episodes, but I distinctly recall a "next time" tease on the end of that seventh episode.Lester wrote:And in an ironic comparison, there sits Paula next to him, dishing out attaboys and attagirls, telling them how great they'll be someday... when that industry has turned her into a pill popping drunken hag.
Also, Paula declined a "second" season because the first made her look bad....something like "they took my reaction to hearing my dog was in a coma and made it look like that was my reaction to a hair and makeup problem."
"I don't know the same things you don't know."
"Yes, you do; you just won't admit it!"
"Yeeee...it looks like a 'Belt Buckle & Ball Cap' convention in here......"

It doesn't look like it came with tinted windows, either...Lester wrote:One million dollars... and no air conditioning.
But, it's not just a car. It's one of the greatest machines ever made by man.
Man, to take it out on the freeway just once... 0-60 in two seconds.
Absolutely. I love success stories like that.SPIKE NESMITH! wrote:And to think, he was broke, bankrupt and living with his parents at 30. There are some rich people who just plain irritate me, but he's worked for his money. He's a smart man.
He earned it. He can drive and live in whatever he wants.

Yeah, but he's not being one for the sake of it. It's constructive and useful. Most of the ex-contestants say that he's their favourite judge because he makes them work harder and realise where their weaknesses are. Besides, I'd take a compliment far more seriously from him than I would Paula, whose main function on the show seems to be that of a well-meaning elderly aunt. In the entertainment indistry, "aawww, that was a really good try" won't get you anywhere.Hoosier Daddy wrote:Simon's a dick. But that's what they wanted.
So sayeth His Royal Highness King Spike; greatest broadcasting talent of his generation.
