Math Trick Phone Number
Here is a math trick so unbelievable that it will stump you. Personally I
would like to know who came up with this and why that person is not running
the country.
1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your
head)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area
code)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.

Essentially, you're multiplying your prefix by 10,000 and then adding your last four digits.
Steps 2 and 3 make your prefix into the first three digits in what will be a seven-digit number once you do steps 5 and 9.
Steps 2 and 3 make the singles column "0," making the effect of steps 4 and 5 irrelevant once you hit step 8; step 4 just makes it harder to see what's coming and could be left out if step 8 were left out, too.
Step 6 makes your last four digits match your phone number while step 7 serves to make the effect of step 9 irrelevant to those last four digits.
