Rod On ESPN

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Rod On ESPN

Post by Dave Allen »

Anyone catch RichRod on "Outside The Lines" on ESPN this morning? They did a piece on the whole mess with him leaving and all, focusing quiet a bit on the uproar in the state. They had Vingle, Hickman and some other writers on and the mandatory VU meter shot from SportsLine. The best part was at the end of the show they were talking to some dude in the studio about the story and he said, "Face it, its fall in West Virginia...what else is there to do?"

Nice.

The story really cast West Virginians in bad light, as if we are all bloodthristy inbreds...oh, we are? Damn then!

I just spent the weekend in delaware and maryland doing stand up shows. I will have to say that there is just as much or more white trash up there as here. I couldnt believe how bad it was. Dover is like the Preston county of Delaware.
