Super Bowl Predictions?

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

I know nothing about the teams playing and precious little about the game itself, so take that into consideration when I say....

They Might Be Giants 36, Patrons 32.
So sayeth His Royal Highness King Spike; greatest broadcasting talent of his generation.

Who cares.
Green Bay isn't on the field.

Hey! Me and Spike, big time pickers all the way.
Of course in my case, that's mostly nose picking.

What the hell were you smoking? The whole game was great! One of the better Super Bowls in awhile.

I mean, I know it wasn't an offensive showcase like Marshall vs. Prestera Center would be...but it was a helluva game from start to finish.

I was hoping Brady would air it out more so that's why I wasn't impressed with the first 3 quarters.

Defensive games are usually boring.

But, holy heck, how about that catch by Tyree of the Giants in the 4th quarter to set up the winning td? Not to meniton the Manning scramble!

Wow!!

The Manning Scramble was one for the ages. Not to mention the Giants defense smacking around Brady.

I was glad the Giants won, I was rooting for them.

It's what the Patsies get for cheating!

All the hype.. all the build-up for one quarter of football. ONE FREAKING QUARTER of football. WTF happened? I've seen JV games with more offense than that.

Also, I fast forwarded through Washedup Petty. I was amazed to learn he was still alive let alone still performing IN PUBLIC! Who's brilliant idea was it to book Washedup Petty for the notsoSuperBowl. Are they trying to attract an older audience?

They must be aiming for washed-up boomers (Tom and me) for our increasing disposable income (Tom not me). Why can't or won't they book a more current rock act?

At this point, who would be a great choice?

Kid Rock.

Just sayin'.

Say what you want about Petty, but at least he appeared to be actually singing.
