wtrf-tv sold?
I've heard a rumor (maybe not a rumor since i've heard it from an staff member from WTRF, that it has been sold to Bob Fitzsimmons, the owner of WKKX ironically enough. Anyone know if this is true?

Well, WTRF is a weaker sister in a family of weak sisters.
WOWK could then use WVNS as a satellite and do away with some staffing.
WVNS has almost no ratings for local content.
I am assuming that WBOY could run on their own merits.
I don't see the wkkx guy buying them tho.
I don't think he has the money to buy and operate a TV station.
Maybe KDKA, to match the model that COX has made with their local cluster.
There is not not much in Wheeling to fight over.
The value of the station has dropped with the ownership of Bray Cary and the plummeting population of the poster child for rust belt cities.
What did Bray pay for WTRF?

WKKX owner is actually a multi-millionare sleazy lawyer type. He is the man representing WVU in the Coach Rod lawsuit, he also representing former Pittsburgh Steeler center Mike Webster and being the first attorney to successfully win a lawsuit against the NFL. He's had a number of other high profile cases.

Manganese toxicity is most likely to occur where the environment is contaminated with manganese - not from dietary or supplement intake. For example, those who work in areas where large amounts of manganese dust are present have shown symptoms of brain disease and other nervous system disorders.Crusader1980 wrote:I bet your extended time in the bathroom is spent dreaming of the day when geeks get girls.................or sheep.

Why is it that, when faced with their own massive intellectual shortcomings, people like this always refer to something sexual as if it's life's greatest accomplishment or reward?
(Especially considering the kinds of women you just know this guy is talking about.)
Back when morality was the norm, I suppose that could have been seen by some to be of some small value ("value" is the wrong word, isn't it?), but now??
Imagine some old guys sitting around....introducing themselves to each other, they say:
"I finally figured out how to prevent all cancer...how about you?"
"I started a little business that wound up employing 400."
"I founded a church that saw 10,000 come to Christ in this area, started two food pantries, and funded the drilling of 20,000 wells in Africa."
"I discovered the compound that tripled mileage when added to gasoline."
"Yeah, well, I got with lots of fat, ugly chicks with low IQs, and I'm not talking the kind that just sit around all day watching Springer...I'm talking the kinds that get on Springer...multiple times!"
It's people like you who make me think people like those in your region deserve exactly what you're experiencing.
