Charlestons most famous Hobo is "Aqualung". He's been around here for many many years and has never bothered anyone (except with his smell).
He's been missing now for 8 or 9 months and the bi-yearly All Points Bulletin for his whereabouts has been printed HUGH on the FRONT PAGE ABOVE THE FOLD of the state's second largest newspaper today.
The story itself is always interesting, especially when the former Daily Mail newspaper founders daughter is heavily involved. Anyway, one line in the lengthy story caught my eye:
"People who've lived in Charleston all their lives and those who've moved away think of him as a symbol of the city."
