WDNE = WELK ?

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

WDNE = WELK ?

Post by JKF18 »

On Saturday afternoon I clearly heard an announcer (local, voicetracked I would assume) say "94.7 WDNE" on WELK-Elkins. Future calls swap or just a mistake?

Before we took over ops on WKCJ, I clearly heard the announcer punch the wrong calls. Meh...sat voicetrack screwup, methinks.
America is at that awkward stage.
It is too late to work within the system,
but too early to shoot the bastards.

Might as well be the same... one man owns all the towers in town.

No, no calls swapping.... just an ops manager who does things on 5 stations trying to VT a Saturday afternoon at midnight on Friday when he'd been there since 6:30 that morning.

I was a little tired...

Well... turned on 93.1 WFGM today and heard the weather music and bed - problem was no weather report at all ... How much longer until the format wheel spins again? Should just put Hot 93 back on 93.1
