BIG WIN FOR WVU

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

One day, WVU will win a meaningful game (i.e. national championship), then they can sit at the table with the big boys. But they played great last night.
Okay, I was kidding about the first part. We'll be out of Iraq before they win a championship.

Truly a great win for WVU! Although I've been gone from Fairmont for almost 12 years..I remain a Mountaineer fan forever.

It was great to see how well the team responded to the adversity, and to Bill Stewart. Nice to see him elevated to the head coaching job. the players obviously love this guy, and it seems mutual.

BTW--Buckeyes will beat LSU--handily.

Not because I'm a Buckeye fan, but to me common sense dictates that a team who runs like OSU, has a defense like theirs, and has a pulverizing offensive line, will handle the Tigers without much trouble...

WVU is still not a college football powerhouse, but they are beginning to build a good resume.

They played a solid 60 minutes and took it to OU.

However, they need to learn to win the important games...like the Pitt game. Those types of games separate contenders from pretenders.
