I wish Congress would do away with non comms, make all frequencies commercial. If the shows on NPR and PBS are so wonderful, then it should be no problem gaining enough audience and sell advertising like commercial stations have to do. I know they can to a limited extent, but those restrictions should be done away with. Why should my tax dollars go to pay for their programming when the commercial stations have to go and hawk commercials to pay the bills?

Commercial Air America failed.
Public funded NPR is the fall-back.
They don't take up much of the band.
Modulation over 50% is rare.
Elitists like Nazi funeral music.

One difference is that I could not take Air America seriously considering that political spin by Al Franken just sounded like a rip off of an SNL skit. At least NPR has real political pundits.
