WVU # 3

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Two West Virginia University football players were arrested over the weekend and charged with transferring and receiving stolen property.

James Thomas, 18, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Ellis Lankster, 21, of Whistler, Ala., were arrested at 1:51 a.m. Sunday, Morgantown Police said in a news release.

Morgantown police didn’t release any other details, but a police dispatcher who declined to give her name said Monday that the stolen property was a computer.

...and they're off!

BTW, doesn't it seem curious that this should happen as the Princeton Review mentions WVU as the top party school? Certainly should put the minds of many parents at ease as their "yoots" head off to Morgantown, don't you think?

Two players getting arrested at WVU? Hmmmm.

I say this puts them one step closer to being a major "football" program. Now all they need is a few rule violations (something involving boosters and "gifts") and...oh yeah, a national title!

After the suspension came down, Pacman's lawyer had mentioned that he'd be working out with WVU during the suspension. This was news to coach Tall's (secondary coach) kids who are in my class. One of them told me that his dad would NEVER allow pacman around his players. And I don't think he's been on campus since the announcement.

Dude... That's awesome. I even laughed at the ones poking fun at MU.
