I'm in the market to buy a new PC...preferably one that supports gaming.
Yeah, I want to geek it up in World of Warcraft.

My friends at work that are gaming geeks say to avoid the new (made by Dell) Alienware although they were on their way downhill prior to the acquisition.
If it is top of the line that you want, build your own machine with a Core2Quad CPU and an nVidia GeForce 8800 with 512 MB (video) RAM.
On a budget? Build the PC using an AMD processor and ATI graphics adapter. Pricing on AMD's product line is better than the Intel/nVidia products due to AMD's need for cash to catch up in the CPU wars.
