Google is broken

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

Google is broken

Post by Big Media »

Someone help the idiot. Wasn't there once a water park and petting zoo located near Jackson, Oh? What the hell happened? I can't find "Splash Down" or "Noah's Ark Petting Zoo" on Google. Only broken links.

Anyone?

Noah's Ark Petting Zoo... holy hell! Almost forgot about that dump.

At the time, it was the most depressing hole-in-the-ground ever. The animals were in bad shape, enough to the point I almost called Animal Control or the SPCA or even PETA.

Also, I wouldn't ride the train even if you paid me.

Was the water park just as bad? I was under the impression that they just remodeled the water park.

Noah's Ark closed last year following the train wreck that sent 30 some folks to the hospital. The rumor mill says Kings-Daughters Hospital in Ashland KY bought the property and will open a hospital or large clinic there soon.

Splashdown went up for Sheriff's sale and was purchased by a family in Florida with ties to the area. It is now open and they are online at http://www.splashdowncountry.com

Hope this helps.

It does. I remembered hearing something about the train issue but I had no idea the park was that bad. I believe I will skip Jackson and keep the wheels moving on up 35.

Oddly, the water park that I couldn't spell if I had to, which is owned by the Columbus Zoo, is closed this year to reopen next year. But I found this, which is similar to Great Wolf. But I ain't paying $179/night. Media salaries just aren't that great.

Geauga Lake and Wildwater Kingdom has a nice waterpark where Seaworld used to be in Aurora.

Lord knows they need the business.

Why does this thread conjure up memories of Zeke Mullins reading a spot about some place called "Noie's Ork Animul Pork"?
