The posting in the trades was incorrect. Davidson is not purchasing those stations. He is purchasing an AM in New York City and an AM in Boston from the current Sporting News Radio owner Blackstrap.

Goodman is putting those signals into a trust called GOODMAN TRUST LLC.

The signals will be bought out on a one by one basis...or in clusters.

I see it as an operator who owns stations in Ohio, used to own a signal in Morgantown but is no longer in the market.

Could WBKS be moved closer to the Huntington metro? I was under the impression that ownership limits under Clear Channel prevented the company from moving it to a position where it had city-grade coverage.

107.1 cannot be moved very far east because of 107.3 in Charleston.

Probably also limited to a degree by 107.1 Belpre, but I suspect 107.3 is more of a problem.

Larry Patrick claims that the trust won't sell to a competitor, except maybe a quasi-competitor like Mortenson that is not directly competing in advertising sales.

Demonstrate that you have the money and we can talk. No owner openly posts the price for stations or exposes them to well-intentioned folks who cannot immediately prove that they have significant cash. That would be well north of $1.5-2.0 million here.
