OLD Jock

Does anyone remember a jock from the stone age(early 70's) named Nick Tennis? Worked in Clarksburg.

Yes, I knew Nick very well when I was in Fairmont. Although he worked for our competition, he was always good people. In fact, I think Nick was doing weather on weekends at channel 5, at about the time I was doing the same for channel 12.
I think he was actually a GM and Sales Manger by the time I knew him.
Great guy...

I think Nick was the sales manager at 13 Rock WHAR and WVHF when I was fired from there in 1983.

Good stuff, but I know the real story.

He was causing too much of a "racket", so they let him go.

Now, cue more crickets.

Seems to me that I remember Nick. Nice guy. GREAT voice! I always wondered why he didn't go to the "big leagues."

Nick does have some great pipes. Did mornings at WHAR years ago. Last I heard he was at WBOY in sales.
