But they could've gotten an action shot of you turning the knob on some really big and impressive electronic thing.
Or climbing the Barker's Ridge tower with the sun setting in the background.

I spent a lot of time with those RCA vtr's shown in the last part of the sign-on.

WOW!! .... now that's an old memory.
Camera controles, film island controls, shading controls, on-the air director position was the same (more or less) in 1975.
Tape room looked the same. Whoever took that segment left out the best QUAD machine..... Tape 11.
I thought the QUAD machines were wrecked out by then. Genlock will know that answer.
Ah, YES.... it was good times.

That looked vaguely familiar...was it the same in 83-84?

Never did change much.
Quads left in the 90's.
Film islands too.
