Radio Voice in Columbus needs a Job
Saw a re-tweet of this link from a friend and thought it needs a post here.

Better hurry. Looks like Bristol is trying to get in touch with him already.

Yep, I heard one of the jocks from Electric 102 hamming it up during the lunch hour yesterday. He was talking about how heart-warming it was.

He may have a chance to replace John Facenda of NFL films.
Bit of a stretch.

Like this is the first radio guy who ever wound-up on the streets.

I hope you get a remote this week, because if we get auctioned off to those storage wars guys we're screwed.

I'm already looking at some slightly used dumpsters. Good news, more room. Bad news, worse smell.

Just so you'll know, common folks like me really get frustrated when you brag about how highfalutin you guys live!Bob Campbell wrote:I think you mean SHARING a storage locker. I give the guy 6 months before he's back on drugs and screwing his employers and friends. I HOPE this doesn't happen but the new influx of money and fame has brought down stronger guys than this.
Also: The Kraft Foods Company really jumped on the bandwagon too soon I'm afraid, allowing him to be their spokesperson. Nothing like a criminal Crack addict to represent your food products. Hope they don't live to regret it.

I don't buy the fact that he's off drugs. Two years clean and you're STILL homeless. What have you been doing? Oh, I know, drugs. This is a disgrace, the guy had his chance. There are too many other qualifed people that these trumped-up gigs could go to.
That's clutch right there. . . . .

And yes, we shot a parody of his video today, starring yours truly. Look for it on

by the end of the day, sooner if editing gets done quicker.
And yes, it is a cheap plug for my show.

And now a trip into the "Things Ol' Scotty Has Actually Seen--Post Drug Years Edition":Clay JD Walker wrote:I dunno what's the big deal...I've been living in a storage locker for years...
Perryopolis, Pennsylvania. A late Sunday morning in February. At most it was 6 or 7 above zero. A nice covering of 1-2" of fresh snow on the ground. Across Route 51 from me, a large cluster of storage facilities. A blue pickup truck pulls onto the property. Two girls get out. One unlocks the storage door and waits outside. The other goes in. Comes back out three times. Finally has the set of black Pearl drums assembled OUTSIDE THE DOOR IN THE SNOW. Begins playing them furiously good while the other girl watches.
I kid you not.
I can't.
I was in church at the time.
And my flashbacks aren't usually that vivid...
