Rock bands: Reunite!
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Your favorite '90s band broke up? Fear not, they'll be back. Seventies and '80s bands, too. And if not this year, maybe next.

Well, from the article it looks my "dream tour" of Roy Wood's Wizzard, The Clash, Mott The Hoople, and The Monkees is not going to be a happenin' thing...

I got to see The Monkees in Charleston about 25 years ago or so at the Civic Center, but Mike Nesmith was not with them. They were touring with Gary Puckett and The Union Gap and The Grassroots. The Hermits (without Peter Noone) were supposed to perform but canceled about a week or two before the concert.Scott Reppert wrote:The Monkees

Bullshit. They can keep their f-ckin' ticket."If people are going to spend $75 for a crummy ticket, they're going to want to see big bands playing their big hits,"

Re: Rock bands: Reunite!
It could be argued that this trend would not have happened had record sales not declined...
The more concerts, the better. Even if there are sucky bands, there will still be good ones in the mix.
I gues the real question is: when are the New Kids coming to the Civic Center? And which station will cover this earth-shattering event?
