WLS-TV: 31 people shot in Chicago since Friday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- By ABC7 News' count, there have now been 31 people shot in Chicago since Friday. Six people have died. A 12-year-old and a 14-year-old were among those wounded. Authorities say the boys were shot about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5300 block of West Madison. One of them was hurt critically. As crews were responding to that shooting, a third person was shot, just around the corner. And just 40 minutes earlier, three men were shot, less than a block away.

Obama's plan for withdrawl was in response to Bush's position: let the killings continue until the bodies are three-deep in the streets and decomposing, put on your skin tight flight suit and claim "Mission Accomplished" on the nightly news, then step aside and say "carry on". That and a few Billion dollar no-bid government contracts to friends so they'll throw a little lime on the rot from time to time and shoot some disease-carrying rats around the periphery.
