Who really gives a shit about the rest of the nation? We are on the verge of winning a National Championship. Football fans will be watching everywhere!! It is the biggest game on the year on national tv, big ratings just come with it.

I kinda agree with this. This whole "college football needs a playoff system" drum beat was like a small toy drum. Now, its like a full blown, Tommy Lee spinning in mid-air, touring set.

Sorry, but no one outside Missouri or West By God will give a rat's ass about a Mizzou/WVU matchup. The ratings will be there because sports fan will watch just because its the national title game. Madison Avenue wants Ohio State/Notre Dame/Florida/USC/UCLA, etc.
