I'm told by someone in the area that WTRF is indeed running simulcasts of their main "7 News" on "ABC Ohio Valley", with different opens and a superimposed "7" logo with an ABC logo in it.

I decided to plug the DTV reciever in last night and they are indeed airing the ABC with their normal news program only difference is the ABC logo at the bottom of the screen. The picture and sound are pretty good for me. However if i turn over to 7.2 to the Fox affilate, the sound is terrible and doesn't sync at all.

I just noticed that Dish Network is now carrying the WBOY-DT 12.2 ABC feed. Does anyone know if Comcast carries it? Looking at their line-up for Morgantown, it doesn't appear that they carry 12.1 in HD.

Can't chairman Bray think of a use for the digital bandwidth in H-C?

Although it has taken almost 3 years.... looks like WTRF is getting their way on channel positions for Comcast cable. As of August 10th 2010, WTRF 7 CBS moves channel channel 5 on Comcast to channel 7. Fox Ohio Valley, moves from channel 12 to channel 3, and ABC Ohio Valley moves from channel 205 to channel 4... WTAE moves from channel 4 to channel 194, WPXI moves from channel 11, to channel 196, and WYTV moves from channel 19 to i believe channel 196 or something. Also apparently a new ABC OHIO VALLEY "HD" goes on channel 804 with WTAE going from 804 to 904. WTOV HD goes from 211 to 209 and or 809. With all the HD's moving from 200 level to 800/900 level what else you think could be around the pike?
