'Big Surprise' coming on B97.1??

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Why do you end sentences in prepositions?

Same reason you end sentences in prepositions. Like you just did.

Never use a preposition to end a sentence with.

Funny story--I was checking out at my local pharmacy, and the lady said to me, "You HAVE to help me! I want to find a station that plays 70s and 80s music, and the only ones I know about are playing Christmas music. Give me the name of another station that plays that kind of music". I told her I didn't think there was one...that both stations that might play that era music were both doing Christmas. She had a FIT! "Well, YOU'RE Gary "Music" Miller...can't YOU do something about it?" I had to laugh. I told her to buckle down until probably the first of next year. She shook her head in disbelef, because she said she hated new music, hard rock and country and that was all she could find on her "radio dial".

Even I can't control some...well, obviously, most things. I guess I have too much common sense for today's radio market.

Gary, just think if you had gone into medicine instead of radio.
I'm thinking Proctology or Urology.

I think that's, "Never use a preposition to end a sentence with, stupid." That way you've avoided ending the sentence with a preposition.

Umm ... I GET IT. Ending the sentence with a preposition was intentional.

THAT'S THE JOKE.

I would have told her to try and pull in 102.3 from Grayson, or 99.3 from Portsmouth.
