If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Biggest problem with WOWK staying on 13 is that WSYX in Columbus was assigned Digital 13 by the FCC. WOWK was supposed to go to Channel 54, then later, to Channel 47. There is now an area in southeast Ohio where one Digital 13 station blanks out the other. It all could have been avoided if someone at the FCC bothered to notice the overlap.

They were too busy making sure rock radio people weren't talking about blow jobs or smoking weed to make sure stations were not under or over power or overlapping.

you might try another antenna. one with a high front to back ratio. a bow tie antenna is one. you might be able to seperate the signals with a good directional one.

Antennas? Are those those things that used to grow out of the back of the tv? Weren't they replace by that thingy that plugs into the wall?

WSYX noticed. They are moving to 48 as provided for here.
Aircheck? You'd make a great board op.

I guess that is what I is happening to me on my hill in eastern KY. I have absolutely no signal strength on digital 13, even after tuning in my channels again on my converter box.

Thank goodness that I have bit torrent to download my CBS shows that I miss because of this issue.

A directional antenna with good fron-to-back and front-to-side would do the trick.

The WOWK><WSYX problem may rectify itself soon with WSYX going to a UHF channel ...
