What is with this strange new format of one sentence lines?
Just wondering.
Radio is becoming retro to kids these days.
They listen to their portable players and Internet radio.
They hear their favorite songs on their friends MySpace profile pages and their only exposure to old-school music is American Idol's 70s week or something.
HD and Genlock are both on target, here.
Radio, as we know it, will be no more in the very near future.
It is of no interest to the 18 and under demo and it has been gutted too much to be of any real use to the 18 and over demo.
Voice tracking was the beginning of the end.

Eliminating the JB Millers, Gary Millers, and even the Derick Levines (shudder) of the FM dial is NOT a long term fix.
I believe part of the reason for WDGGs amazing success is due to them sticking to doing radio the way radio should be.
Let's face it... are you going to listen to WTCR, which is programmed and voiced out of Chicago or someplace, or are you going to listen to WDGG, which is programmed and staffed with people we have been listening to one the radio for years?
Seriously, what is up with the one sentence per line deal?
