Looks like rock in general took a hit this book.

Z-Rock lost almost 50% of its audience, yet it looks like they just vanished. They didn't go anywhere else.

Actually, they did. But, anyway...

No surprise. Those of us that were passionate about Z Rock from the get go were continually frustrated by those in management that couldn't have cared less.

The decline of Z Rock was definately another fine example in this industry of a good idea done half a$$ed!

Had Loki gotten a chance to change things a little sooner he might have been able to overcome the damage that had been done..

But, sadly we will never know..
Who killed the radio star??

Indeed. The imaging is done wrong, the music is done wrong, the talent that they do have in stock is not being used AT ALL. I get really pissed when I hear Avenged Sevenfold followed by the f-cking Fall Out Boys.

Z-Rock's always just been a loss leader for Bristol. Take a couple shares away from Rock 105 to protect QBE and 102. They can offer bonus spots on it to help the others sell.

When looking at the change in numbers of the top 3 stations, it look more like the results changed due to a skewing of the distribution of books than due to a change in the preferences of listeners. I could see the shift had WKEE Listeners moved to Magic, but I do not see KEE listeners switching to country that quickly and easily.
