102 sounds better now than it ever has, IMHO...ratings then compared to now is like comparing apples to oranges...the marketplace has changed since then...not discounting your old show, nor anyone else for that matter.

Oh... and 102 does sound better than it ever has. I totally second that. I listen to CK and LJ every morning and that mid-day guy isn't bad either.. but I hear he is kind of a... oh nevermind.

There are two other people in my field in Philly with my name. 5 additional in the United States. I am pretty glad we are all pretty professional about this stuff otherwise I would be in deep stuff when I went out looking for a gig.

I should clarify.. at least for my part, I would have to be 99% sure I was looking at the right person... verified through a picture or in the case of my phone interview, his employment history coincided with his post (i.e. he trashed his previous employer. The same employer who he listed as a reference, by the way).

I would never rule out someone unless I was pretty darn sure I was ruling out the right person.

Kind of a trick answer, isn't it? Back in the day, WTIP AM 1240 was the dominant station in the simulcast operation, with WTIO FM 102.7 being more of a novelty and an "also ran" in the Charleston radio market. I'm just sayin' ...

New thermostat won't kick the furnace off. It ran wide open about 3 hours straight the other night. Came back to a sauna. Had to manually turn it off.
