Iowa now has one of those God awful abominations by "sculpture" Albert Paley, the "artist" that made the plane crash that stands in front of the Clay Center.

I just clicked on it and it worked fine. It's the Des Moines Register newspaper, so it's a clean site.

By the way... Facebook has not been loading since yesterday afternoon. Anyone else having that problem?

On the other story...

Seizing of sites with out a court order seems unconstitutional to me. Wouldn't take much to have a court issue a TRO (temporary restraining order) based on copyright or similar violations--but would then protect the due process rights of the domain name owner. No different than getting a TRO to prevent the sale of items alleged to be in violation of a copyright.

Also sets bad precedent internationally. E-Bay France just won, after a long struggle, a dispute over the sale of trademarked/copied items on its site. Had to take it to the European Court after losing in France.

But this administration never worries about precedents or due process.

Not really the business of Homeland Security, is it? Where's the risk to national security if someone violates a copyright?

Ah well, under the Obama regime, our every waking moment is to be controlled by the gubmint.
