New Kid Rock CD
Since the board is suffering from a SERIOUS lack of activity recently I have decided to do an album review. I am one of the few people who still BUYS CDs. I don't use i-Tunes..I actually enjoying going to the store and BUYING them. I still enjoy the process of throwing the CD in the player and listening to it while reading the liner notes, etc. Yeah, I'm old school that way. Anyway, I have been much looking forward to the new Kid Rock CD for some time. Rock has his critics, but to me he is (or was) one of the few that understands what a rock star is supposed to be. He talked about strippers, cocaine, Stroh's, etc. That one of the main reasons why I was drawn to him. That having been said the new CD SUCKS. It is simply awful. Kid has forgotten what made him what he is. If you want to discover who Kid Rock is (or was) go listen to "Rock-n-Roll Pain Train". That song may as well have been written about most of us still left in radio. Listen to "I Am The Bullgod", "Wastin' Time", "Early Mornin' Stone Pimp" (an ode to morning jocks...or so I think it is). Anyway, just my two...

Re: New Kid Rock CD
You are old school. I haven't bought a CD in probably 10 years (at least not for myself). I haven't looked at a CD jacket in more like 15 years.
When I was doing dances in the mid 90s, I would buy a CD, put it into one of those binders with the CD selves, and chuck the box in the trash.
Incidentally, I do the same thing with DVDs that I buy now. I do not keep the boxes. Does that make me less a man?
