Re: J.B. Miller's House Featured...
Great house JB! I saved the "office" photo to see if the thing on the left is the "console". Looks like it, with a VU meter and all. Did you ever connect it to a transmitter?
I used some 'pots' from an old radio and the amp from a Sears Silvertone record player and a $2 VU meter from Radio Shack. But I hooked mine to a 1 watt "phono oscillator" I got from Lafayette Electronics. Me and the 'guys' on Lewis Ave. ran "WBHS AM" off and on from 19666 thru 68'. With a map stand for an antenna in my front yard, you could hear us for a mile on a car radio!
But after that I was too shy to talk on the radio....so I became an engineer first.
Tell us the rest of your story. Or at least tell me, for I haven't heard it.

I got to see JB Sunday - he did a great job as MC at the Cancer Survivors event at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Survivors were invited to take the mike and tell our stories, and I got to pay tribute to the doctor who removed my cancerous prostate 5 years ago. Dr. Louis Molina died of a heart attack last July. Not only was he a great surgeon and urologist, but he also recruited Dr. Jensen and the DaVinci system to CHH, providing a much less traumatic surgery and quicker recovery for prostate cancer patients.

Very nice place JB. You should be proud. And now I think I am in the wrong line of work.
