Hillary speaks where she thinks we might not hear

LAHORE: The leadership of Al Qaeda is in Pakistan, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Thursday.

“I find it hard to believe that nobody in your government knows where they are and couldn’t get them if they really wanted to,” she added.

“Maybe that’s the case; maybe they’re not gettable. I don’t know... As far as we know, they are in Pakistan,” Clinton told senior Pakistani newspaper editors in Lahore, AFP reported. “The percentage of taxes on GDP (in Pakistan) is among the lowest in the world... We (the United States) tax everything that moves and doesn’t move, and that’s not what we see in Pakistan,” she said.

Of course, USA MSM might not have reported it.
This time a non-US news service caught it and it was out.
I have not seen coverage of this on US MSM yet.
Perhaps Obama Halloween was more important.

CBS, NBC, Fox, MSNBC, all had it last week. It's nearly a week old already. She said it in Pakistan because it was addressed to Pakistanis,with whom she was meeting on a diplomatic mission. She made the statement when asked a question on a Pakistani news show. She later repeated it at a public apperance during a Q & A. When a questioner criticised the US for putting conditions on our aid to Pakistan she also said we weren't forcing them to take the money and if they didn't want it we're okay with that (paraphrasing obviously). A full US press presence was there the whole time. Do any of you guys ever check the real news outlets? Seriously, this led the news Tuesday and Wednesday.

I mis-wrote. I actually saw this clip. She did say it. It was obviously in jest. She laughed when she said it.
So, you're upset because she said that, or because she thought we just get return on value for the billions we funnel to Pakistan? I would think you righties would love her saying they didn't have to take our money and if they didn't want it we could find better ways to use it.
