If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

I thought you were talking about his average number of viewers per station.

The 13.1 audio over the 13.2 weather radar is a little annoying.

Using 13.2, wowk needs to satisfy the children’s fulfillment part to the rules! Just putting the radar up is skirting the rule. Broadcasting programming with advertisements, without having children’s programming on a TV channel is contrary the rules.. Hope this doesn’t screw the radar.

If true, this will be a good add to WOWK.
Now to get it on cable.
It could be a great thing for the unused sales staff of wowk.
A positive move (first in years) for channel 13.

Damned! I LIKED the radar! Use it several times a day to make plans.

The radar is a low bit-rate stream (or should be).
No problem for wowk to maintain that as 13.3.
Unless they expend all their thinking on the production of "Derision Makers".

I used it when I was in town until the day of the digital transition. Now, I cannot get 13 at all and I am on top of a big hill with a good line to the transmitter.

Sucks.

Didn't that go away? Down here it's now called ThisTV (I think).

And to elaborate: it's a network popping up on .2 .3 HD channels that runs old 70's tv shows. Pretty fun, actually.

Re-scan your receiver, they are no longer on uhf channel 47.
They reverted back to vhf channel 13.

They're two separate entities, though I wouldn't be surprised if certain stations tried to shoehorn both networks onto the schedule.

Your mileage may vary on quality of either... of course it depends entirely who's carrying what, and when, not to mention your tastes to begin with.

I think you can "skirt" the children's program requirement on your digital sub channels by allotting additional time on your primary. I doubt WOWK is doing this, though.

Besides, I believe in order to fall under the children's program requirement, your sub channel must be a programming channel. Doppler radar is not what I would consider programming.

Also, MyZ is a THIS secondary affiliate.
