Nice stuff! Methomyl. The word toxic appears often.

Makes me glad I'm west of that whole area.

Jesus. The initial coverage was very lacking. I believe it was like 12:30 or 1:00 before WCHS had the first live shot up. What the hell took so long? WSAZ was the only station that stayed with the story after the 11 o'clock news but they dumped out at 12:15 or so.. just when the other two stations finally went to continuous coverage. What a mess.

Agreed. Remarkably bad. But the onus belongs on Kanawha County for not providing public information in a more timely manner.

WOWK had the coverage, they picked it up before the 11 O'clock news and stayed with it even into the morning show. And just because WCHS did not run an EAS......well.They had to call and get Bob Arron's grumpy ass out of bed!

WSAZ also had coverage before 11pm, throughout their newscast and stayed on the air, minus a 30 minute break, until sometime after 2 am. I'm not sure what WCHS did.
