Yeah, This seems to be happining alot by these networks who just want to have the new fad of an "HD" station, but don't want to actual spend the time and money to produce HD content. I'm willing to bet that 75% of the HD networks I get are not true HD. Only discovery Networks are reconized by my TV as 1080i or 760p.

This explains alot. Apparently Comcast is compressing their HD feeds so that they can squeeze more channels into their limited bandwidth.
