I believe this has already been outed as completely staged. The game, the performance, the "crowd", everything was staged.

Rick Roll'd is a "phenomenon", if you will, on the 'net where people post a video link with something like "Princess Diana Sex Tape". You click on the link, and instead it is a copy of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up", complete with Rick.... uhm... "rolling".

Example:

"Dude! I just found Eva Longoria's sex tape! It's AWESOME! Check it out here!!!!"

Since Sunday, I have been rickrolled 5 times. Until this past Sunday, Only I knew what this was among my friends and had never been a victim. Go figure.
