Hallburn v. Hurricane

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

I note that days after appearing with the dummy headlines, it has now been corrected....

And check out this unbiased (HA HA) story he has now put up:

http://www.putnamlive.com/FinallyWalMar ... iness.html

These headlines:

FINALLY, WAL-MART OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Politicians Celebrate Their Bad Ethics

Wal-Mart has some very good lawyers. That second headline seems to border on libel, if it isn't. The article is replete with statements that could certainly result in litigation. Note this is in the "Business News" section, and there is nothing to indicate it is an editorial...even if it were an editorial, I doubt that would be much protection from potential legal controversy.

Sigh.

That's hilarious. I liked the paragraph on the city councilwoman who "hung up the telephone without providing an intelligent comment..."

All I'm going to say, since we know Mark looks over at this board from time to time, is that Mark you lose.

P.S. Weren't you going to move to the south? Lazy fat ass.

He had a job at a small market TV station in Myrtle Beach, and failed.
