Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez broke his silence on the controversy that has followed since he left West Virginia for the Wolverines, telling the Toledo Blade that the "lies" need to stop.
The things they are saying are not true. It's a lie. How can you put out lies and think it's OK? They don't care what the truth is, they just want to smear Rich Rodriguez.
--Rich Rodriguez, in Toledo Blade interview
"The things they are saying are not true," Rodriguez told the Blade. "It's a lie. How can you put out lies and think it's OK? They don't care what the truth is, they just want to smear Rich Rodriguez."
Besides suing Rodriguez to collect a $4 million buyout clause in his contract, West Virginia University is continuing its investigation into missing records associated with the program under Rodriguez.
"It's very frustrating," Rodriguez told the Blade. "I knew there'd be some emotions involved when I left, but I wanted to take the high road. I've chosen to move on, but it's almost like it's something new every day, and it's totally ridiculous."

From what I have been reading, it sounds like there is more wrong at WVU than just the coach problem. Was the Alumni Asoc. pulling Rod's strings (with big money) and telling him what to do? Is the administration not in control of the football program and been turning a 'blind eye'? Are the other programs as f'd up as football?
just wonderin'.

just wonderin'.

how much does a degree from WVU cost these days??? i've been wanting to finish up my degree, but just can't make time. it'd be so much easier if i could just buy one.Bob Campbell wrote:Is that different from the other degrees at WVU?
Ow...too easy. I feel cheap.
Is it true about all the missing records?
I'm not an idiot, but I play one on the radio.
