So...whats wrong with this picture?

This is a good place to drop general and weird news, entertainment, and general show prep material that might be interesting to air talent or producers. Hot dog threads ALWAYS welcome.

The caption from the link below:
An elderly Iraqi woman shows two bullets which she says hit her house following an early coalition forces raid in the predominantly Shiite Baghdad suburb of Sadr City. At least 175 people were slaughtered on Tuesday and more than 200 wounded when four suicide truck bombs targeted people from an ancient religious sect in northern Iraq, officials said.(AFP/Wissam al-Okaili)

Unfired rounds, different calibers (5.56 and 7.62), shiney (kinda like they were dropped in the street by a soldier).

Damn. Talk about some fast responces. Its sad that you all pick that up, I picked it up, and anyone else would pick that up.

Yet one has to wonder what AFP and/or Wissam al-Okaili was thinking.

Well, maybe somebody just threw them at her house.

After all, it doesn't say they were "fired" at her house.

(Uh..., just a thought.)

Had to be staged by the media.
With war as a standard situation in Iraq for 40 years or so, any Iraqi would know what unexpended rounds are.
Anyone with an ax to grind certainly would.
Media people are generally not military or firearms savvy.
Media people are stupid.

And the woman was ugly.

and and another caption:
An Iraqi elderly woman inspects a bullet which she says hit her bed during an alleged overnight raid by US and Iraqi troops in Baghdad’s impoverished district of Sadr City. Residents said two people were killed and four wounded during the raid. (AFP/Wissam al-Okaili)

(Uh..., it's a possibility, as Bugs Bunny would say!)
