You know ... I think Drew Carey is a good choice. He's an underappreciated and underrated comedian, he's excellent with improv, and has a great "show host" stage presence as seen in "Whose Line is it Anyway".

The best thing is they didn't try to replace Barker with a Barker wannabe clone, or any other of the plastic 'all-I-ever-wanted-to-be-is-a-game-show-host' types.

At least it wasn't Ryan Secrest.

Drew will be Drew, and that's cool with me.

I'm sticking to my guns; TPIR is doomed. It was only nostalgia that was holding it together. I give it less than a year - a month or two for him to settle in, six months of tweaking and changing, four to burn out the contract.
