It is a problem in industry. It has been a problem since before the days that Baldwin locomotive paired with Alco to make a non-steam locomotive. Or when a helicopter motor was tossed into the back of an Automobile that never got off the ground by Preston Thomas Tucker. And now, we have AT&T U-Verse partnering with iHeartRadio to provide live streaming of stations via an app on one of two cable channels. WooHoo!

Considering that it has been 2 weeks since the launch of the wonderful Google Music streaming service or one week since the lack luster AppleMusic was unleashed onto the masses of music listeners, all I can say is that the company of rejected and failed senior managers from other recession era crash and burn firms has once again appeared a week late and lots of dollars short of where they need to be in order to maintain relevance in today's music distribution channels.
And wait a second.... [scanning channels] well yes, there is the wonderful Music Choice channels that have been a part of digital cable since the product was originally rolled out in the mid 1990s. Yep. iHeartRadio has once again given us another tool that is essentially like a tool that we have already had for the last 20 years.
