I've been deliberating creating a podcast for some time (particularly because of my built-in audience from Draft King), and I'm leaning again toward doing it. But, if I do launch a podcast, I want to make sure it's done properly.
Any suggestions for equipment/programs/etc. that would be most effective for podcasting would be appreciated. I've read up on iTunes about how to include podcasts there via RSS, and worst-case I know how to post .mp3 files on a website. But, when it comes to the technical side of recording a podcast, I could use some help. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: Podcasting
We use PodBean to host our TV show archives and radio show archives...both for iTunes AND for our wesbsite. They are inexpensive, very good to deal with (no phone support, though...although their emails are answered VERY quickly) and a LOT of big names use them for hosting. Here's some of our stuff hosted by PodBean:
Actual PodBean site:

TV hosted By PodBean (Quicktime files, only):
http://www.mfcministries.net/media.shtm
Radio hosted by PodBean:
http://www.mfcministries.net/radio.shtm
To see our PodBean stuff housed on iTunes, go there and do a search for mfcradio
Hope that helps!
