Re: Eskip opening
I heard some amazing E-Skip on Tuesday 7/28 -- I caught stations from Odessa, TX (97 Gold) and Raleigh/Durhan, NC (96.9 La Ley) on 96.9 around 4 p.m. CT that day. Poor 97.1 RQQ here in Nashville was getting interference galore from it, which is how I found it...

Re: Eskip opening
Some of those Midwest stations in the sticks sound like crap, too. One of them played a watery Richard Marx mp3, followed by several seconds of dead air, followed by another watery mp3. It was AM fidelity on FM.
The Winnipeg stations sounded pretty good. I was hoping that Minneapolis and Chicago would be under the opening, but didn't get anything from there. Did get a Grand Rapids station, though.
I usually discover 1 or 2 e-skip openings per year. Usually it opens to the SW, from Texas up through Tornado Alley. This was the biggest NW opening I've ever discovered.
