Anybody know where Cable County is ???

If it's about broadcasting, radio, TV, satellite, cable, this is where to talk about it.

Thank you.
We all know you would have NEVER allowed a spot with butchered words to air so let's accept that.
This is only partially true. You'd be surprised the number of times I don't catch something until it is already on the air. Yes, I would have pulled or replaced the spot and would have done make goods despite the objections from production, sales, and traffic. However, if my GM or owner ordered me to play the spot as is, I would.
The fact I choose not to use my name is personal and professional and there are a number of reasons for that. I am NOT the only one on this board who does so. I agree, it is not necessarily the way I want it but the way it has to be - I APOLOGIZE for that!!
Yeah, it's the hillbilly upbringing in me. You must stand behind your words and all that. I'm getting used to the idea that the rule doesn't necessarily apply on a message board and beginning to get comfortable with the fact people have legitimate reasons for not using their real names. Call it a learning process for me.

A perfectly acceptable and poetic sentence.

Palindromic? Nope.

I still prefer 'palindromimic'.

Oh, and I'm calling shenanigans on your doubtfulness as to the palindromocity of the sentence in question:

Some palindromes use words as units rather than letters. An example is "fall leaves after leaves fall" or "First Ladies rule the State and state the rule: ladies first". The Chinese palindromes described above are most like this type of English palindrome.

Those don't support your argument.

Ok, now, that's kinda interesting, and it's something I've not heard before. Thank you!

You guys have never encountered sentence palindromes, or sentedromes (or paltences) before?

One of these days I'm going to have to put my parents on this board. Boy, if you thought Arp was pedantic...

How would one pronounce that?
Being the director of engineering, I produce all of the groups' production and wish to put that in the large e-mail list I send to the world's advertising agencies.

Would:

A man a plan a canal panama

be considered a palindrome or sentedromes? I'm thinking the latter and wish to dilute this thread even more.

You missed out a question mark on the first sentence.

The average listener in Cable County doesn't care. They just want to listen to Rocky on the radio and her J-Lo booty...

Question mark.....you need a question mark. And it needs to be "others' mistakes."

I need to ask a question, myself -- are there multiple kinds of boring lives? If so, what are they?

Oh, another question -- how's that "I've descended to you from much larger markets, I'm going to single-handedly kick WKKW's butt, and they're already running scared" plan of yours going?

(It's okay...you can say it...we all know.....)

 8)
